Austin, Tx Jail system? Do you understand it? Someone explain.?
This is not the second time, but now the third time John Smith has served time for the same crime 3 years ago.
John is pulled over with the excuse of choice this officer chose to go with this particular Wednesday night on a Buda frontage, was that he went over the yellow line while making a u-turn. So by mistake his last sentence was not marked somewhere to be seen by the right people that he has done his time and to not issue a warrant AGAIN by mistake, and was taken to first San Marcos Jail for two weeks, then Travis County Jail for two days,then Del Valle Jail for a month when the judge granted him time served by reviewing the documents that I myself had to receive from other counties because his court appointed lawyer would not even feel up to doing the entire month she was supposed to be serving him but would just instead reschedule 3 times prior. 2 weeks later he is transferred now to Texas State Jail and is yet to be released WTF is the hold up people?!
Sorry I know it's a huge mess and there are too many characters to explain. Time has been served for this exact crime, twice already. We don't have money for a lawyer because of this problem. Too much money has gone in it already for what was thought to have been already taken care of. I juts don't see why he has to wait in jail when the judge has already granted him time served after recieving all the documentation and proof.
After all it was their error.
